Legion of Mutates

The visionary scientist and entrepreneur Elaine Ways had already been experimenting with technologies that could help save the planet, but the knowledge that a collection of ragtag scientists could transform a human so drastically without major negative side effects drove her to shift her focus. The first Legion of Mutates monster introduced to humanity is the outcome of that fast-tracked experimentation. Named after an ancient king, with armor inspired by one of Earth’s greatest civilizations, Cassander leaped into battle, shocking the world. Part-military leader, part-spokesmodel, the massive lion hybrid is simultaneously saving the planet and selling one of the most revolutionary products ever created. The Means & Ways company needs very little marketing to spread the word of what their product can do, and plenty of customers have lined up to get a chance to take the fight for the planet into their own hands.

Alpha Form Description
Action: Pounce

During your Monster Activation, this model can spend one Action Die to perform a Pounce action. Place this model in a space up to three spaces from it's current position.

High Mobility

A model with High Mobility can move through other models and treats all terrain as open terrain. A model with High Mobility is immune to hazards except when it ends its advancement on a hazard, but it still suffers all effects as a result of colliding with hazards and other models. A unit with High Mobility cannot end its movement on impassible terrain.

High Mobility is denoted by the following symbol on a card:

Intimidate

After this attack is resolved, you may advance one enemy unit adjacent to the target up to three spaces. That enemy unit cannot advance into a hazard space.

King of Beasts

While this model is in play, allied Faction units gain +1 Boost Die when participating in attacks.

Penetrator

When resolving this attack, the target model suffers -1 DEF, to a minimum of 1.

Tooth and Claw

This model gains +1 Boost Die for every two Action Dice in your attack roll.

Hyper Form Description

Beat Back

If this model hits an enemy monster with this attack, after the attack is resolved you can move the monster hit up to two spaces in a straight line in any direction. During this movement, the target monster moves through and collides with buildings, units, and hazards in it's path. The target monster stops moving if it collides with another monster.

King of Beasts
