Unlike any map currently released, Isle of Annihilation is the only map to have a permanent hazard with no negative zones . Additionally, the map itself is not mirrored for both players thanks to the asymmetric placement of impassable terrain tiles .

Due to the ambiguous nature of some of the impassable terrain tiles containing both sand and water, a diagram below highlights all tiles that are impassable in red and all hazard tiles in blue.
